#Hiring: Archaeologist Location: Round Rock, TX Salary: based on experience Schedule: Full-time About the Role Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a knowledgeable Archaeologist to schedule, manage, and conduct Phase I III fieldwork, lab analysis, and research for archaeological projects. This position will assist Senior Archaeologists with projects across Texas and nearby states and will contribute to report preparation, artifact curation, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct archaeological fieldwork, identifying artifacts and evaluating sites Collect data and field samples during investigations Analyze historic and prehistoric artifacts Document research methodologies and findings Review and prepare portions of archaeological reports and site forms Advise on project alternatives and resolution of impacts to archaeological resources Prepare artifacts and project records for curation Collaborate with field, lab, and office staff to meet professional and company standards Qualifications & Requirements Work Eligibility: U.S. Work Authorization Required Education & Experience: Master's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field from an accredited institution Must meet Secretary of the Interior's Qualification Standards for Archaeologists 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I III fieldwork Must provide a writing sample (thesis, dissertation, or archaeological report) Valid driver's license Preferred Skills & Abilities: Registered Professional Archaeologist Familiarity with ArcGISPro, Field Maps, Google Earth, or other GIS tools Experience obtaining a Texas Antiquities Permit Lab and artifact curation experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Central Texas Recruiting
