Lucas Law Group is a modern law firm based in Melrose, MA, specializing in Estate Planning, Real Estate, Probate Law, and Business and Corporate Law. Our litigation lawyers serve clients all around Greater Boston.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Probate Attorney, however part-time will be considered. Experience in probate matters a big plus, as is probate litigation experience. Position entails providing legal counsel and representation to clients in matters concerning probate administration, and the distribution of assets after death. You will work closely with clients to guide them through the probate process, and ensure that all legal requirements are met to protect their interests, and represent clients in court as necessary.
Additionally, excellent writing and oral advocacy skills; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; sharp sense of problem-solving, strong client communication skills, self-motivation, and a great personality will make you a fit for our firm.
We are looking for someone with 0-5 years of experience, but the ideal candidate has 3+ years as a practicing attorney in Massachusetts, has a good knowledge of the MUPC and Probate Administration, has appeared before the Massachusetts Probate Courts and is active in his/her community.
Salary to be discussed privately. Full time benefits include health insurance, retirement program with employer match, and paid time off. Option for part-time, ~30 hours per week/parents’ hours.
