Competitive Pay & Flexible Shifts:

  • $21.72 - $30.09 / per hour
  • Evening shift with a minimum of one weekend day each week OR Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.

Your Role as a Certified Child Life Specialists.

  • Assess & evaluate the psychosocial needs of the family members & patients.
  • Plan & implement strategies to emotionally support patients and family members.
  • Evaluate the mental health of children to develop & individualized care plan.
  • Explain diagnoses and treatments to children using education & coping mechanisms.
  • Ensure hospital compliance by adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in child Life Sciences or a bachelor's degree in a related field with the completion of the ACLP required courses for exam eligibility.

Experience:

  • Must have completed a Child Life Internship or have it completed by the date of hire.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Association of Child Life Professionals Certification within 18 months of hire date
