Class A CDL Propane Delivery Drivers

Location: Augusta, GA

Schedule (No overnight travel) : Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Must have flexible hours and be available some weekends)

Position Type: Full Time – Direct Hire

Pay: $18 (raised to $20 after completion of training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck to transport and deliver propane.
• Load and unload propane tanks according to safety protocols.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and customer accounts.
• Conduct basic maintenance on delivery equipment.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and certifications.
• Required to attend 8-Week Safety Training following employment.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Current HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Clean Background Check, Drug Screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent Basic Mathematics.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of propane delivery or related experience
• CETP certification
• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Job Environment:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
