Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the laborer include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
• Loading or unloading building materials to be used.
• Building or taking apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
• Digging trenches, backfilling holes, or compacting earth to prepare for construction.
• Tending to equipment and machines used.
• Helping craft workers with their duties.
• Following construction plans and instructions from supervisors or experienced workers.
• Using a variety of tools and equipment such as brooms, shovels, pavement breakers, jackhammers, earth tampers, and surveying equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members who possess the following traits:

• General construction labor experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with team members and field employees.
• Capable of performing physical activities common to the construction trade.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to conceptualize and visualize outcomes.
• Knowledge of technological developments in the trade.
• Great attitude, reliability, productivity, and commitment to safety.
• Drug-free commitment and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
