We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations, including consolidations, cash forecasting, and audit preparation. This position requires a hands-on approach with a commitment to being onsite at least three days per week.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the process of closing the books and ensuring accurate financial consolidations.
• Oversee cash forecasting and maintain financial stability within the organization.
• Coordinate and prepare for upcoming audit meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are in place.
• Supervise and provide guidance to three direct reports, fostering a productive and efficient team environment.
• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth operations, leveraging their strengths.
• Assist in transitioning responsibilities to the incoming team member and provide necessary training.
• Work closely with private equity stakeholders to align financial practices and objectives.
• Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ensure onsite presence at least three days per week, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements when necessary.• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar senior financial role.
• Expertise in financial consolidations and cash forecasting.
• Strong background in audit preparation and compliance.
• Previous experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
• Familiarity with private equity operations and requirements.
• Proficiency in Epicor or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week, with occasional hybrid flexibility.
• All candidates required to undergo a comprehensive review process.
