Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security GRC Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance strategies while supporting our efforts to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, review, and update of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support risk assessment activities by identifying, analyzing, and documenting potential cybersecurity risks.
  • Help conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Maintain and update the GRC documentation repository, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for compliance reporting.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking remediation efforts for identified risks or audit findings.
  • Participate in vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence reviews.
  • Research and stay informed on emerging cybersecurity regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Pay Range: $17 -$20 an hour
