Dayshift Material Handlers needed for Fabrication Shop in Coweta OK

If you are looking for 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6am to 4:30pm,working for an awesome company in the Coweta/BA area...Look no further!!

Experience operating industrial forklifts, overhead cranes and heavy equipment preferred. Must be able to lift 50lbs without issue for this position.

Material Handler for Warehouse: Currently working 10 hour days Monday through Friday. Day Shift

• Understanding of warehouse layout and how to locate materials.
• Strives for continuous improvement through on the job learning.
• Receives incoming materials, supplies and equipment. Unloads trucks, compares received items to purchase order to verify accuracy and quantity of shipment. Inspects material for damage and defects and escalates issues to Lead. Uncrates and assembles materials if directed and removes and disposes of unneeded packing materials.
• Delivers materials to appropriate departments accurately and obtains proper authorization of delivered materials.
• Prepares crates and other items to be shipped.
• Makes sure that items are properly tagged and labeled.
• May drive truck/forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
• Observes and complies with all safe work practices, wears PPE.
• Complies with all HSE regulations and requirements.
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
• Utilizes computerized inventory system (SAP Preferred)
• Resolve simple vendor discrepancies and report those that are more complex to a higher level.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of warehouse supplies.
• Assures correct materials are pulled from stock and staged with the location noted.
• Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
• Requires operation of heavy equipment, such as forklift on a frequent frequency

Pay is $20+/hr depending on experience.
