Job Description

Minutemen Direct is recruiting a Director of Quality for a tier one automotive supplier in Cleveland, OH. Hours are 6AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday. Pay is $90-$120K range BOE. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistical Analysis, or a Technical field.

The Director of Quality will lead the quality assurance and quality control initiatives . This is a pivotal role and will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations . R equires a strategic thinker who can analyze processes, manage projects, and ensure the highest levels of product quality through effective quality audits and inspections. This is a working manager position as you will be on the production floor 70% of the time and in your office 30% of the time.

Responsibilities:

· Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in inspecting materials, tools, workpieces, and products.

· Responsibility and authority for implementing and maintaining the company’s ISO9001 system.

· Responsible for maintaining the quality system to ensure all products manufactured meet customer specifications, achieving superior quality and reliability levels.

· Meets with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and Company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.

· Company representative for all customers and register audits.

Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree required.

· Experience in automotive, stamping or machining industry.

· Five years of proven experience in a leadership role in quality and/or automotive manufacturing environment preferred.

· Solid understanding of process capability (analyzing and improving manufacturing processes), and continuous improvement is essential.

· Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Six Sigma methodology.

· Knowledge of Quality Concepts (e.g. Statistics, Risk Management, Audits)

· Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.

· Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and presenting findings clearly.

· Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred but not required.

· Travel as needed, customer visits only.
