Overview Be the backbone of our kitchen at YOT Bar & Kitchen as a Dishwasher, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team and ensuring that our guests' dining experiences are exceptional. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall success of our breathtaking waterfront location within the Lauderdale Marine Center. • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashing machinery.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized following food safety guidelines.
• Empty and clean trash bins regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers.
• Organize and store clean dishes, ensuring they are readily available for the culinary team.
• Assist with kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors and removing trash.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen area.
• Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags).
• Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
• Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely.
