Since 1994, Sportime has proudly operated some of the finest tennis and sports facilities in New York
State. With 15 locations, including the iconic Port Washington Tennis Academy—now Sportime Port
Washington, the largest indoor racket sports facility on Long Island—Sportime offers a wide range of
amenities. These include 188 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, 68 pickleball courts, rinks, turf fields,
camps, gyms, and more, across Long Island, NYC, Westchester, and the NY Capital Region. Sportime
clubs are state-of-the-art yet affordable, featuring premier tennis, sports, and fitness programs, including
the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and Sportime Volleyball Club. Our clubs serve individuals of all ages
and athletic abilities, year-round.

In 2023, SPORTIME Clubs partnered with Hornig Capital Partners to establish SPORTIME Pickleball,
LLC, with a mission to develop and operate state-of-the-art, standalone pickleball facilities throughout the
tri-state area under the SPORTIME brand. With 4 lease agreements secured and a fifth in progress, the
first two facilities are slated to open in fall 2024.

The Global Sports Administrator will support Sportime’s Managing Director of Pickleball/Sports with a
wide variety of day-to-day tasks and projects. We are seeking a self-motivated, adaptive, quick learner
who can prioritize and manage a diverse and evolving workload in a, fast-paced environment. The role
demands excellent organizational skills, good judgment, discretion, and common sense, along with
superior writing and communication skills. Multitasking is essential. The Global Sports Administrator will
collaborate with other team members to effectively oversee and organize a broad range of projects,
initiatives and business activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Draft communications for members/customers, employees, partners, investors, vendors, and
other stakeholders.
● Develop systems to support the Managing Director in administrative and related duties, including
monitoring email traffic flow, scheduling, crisis management, budget tracking and analysis,
strategic planning, and construction oversight.
● Assist in planning site openings and securing permits and licenses for new projects.
● Assist in developing and refining policies and standard operating procedures.
● Attend meetings to participate and provide support through minute-taking and action item
tracking.
● Cultivate and maintain relationships with Sportime’s strategic partners.
● Coordinate operations to maximize productivity and growth, ensuring that Sportime sites that offer
Pickleball and Multi-Sport have the necessary resources for effective operations.

QUALIFICAITONS:
● Four-year degree in sports management, business, communications, or a related field
● 2 years of experience in sports management, business administration or project development
preferred
● Up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry trends
● Interest in or passion for sports
● Reliable transportation to travel to Sportime sites within the Tri-State area

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Member benefits - Employees receive complimentary Sportime membership and are eligible to use club facilities, including tennis, fitness and sports, to participate in club programs on a complimentary or discounted basis, and to receive discounts on retail and other purchases.

Health, dental and vision insurance - Full-Time employees are eligible to enroll in Sportime’s group health, dental and vision insurance plans on the first day of the month after they have worked 60 days. Premiums are deducted pre-tax from employees’ gross pay; Sportime contributes to the premiums of employees based upon gross pay thresholds.

401k Plan with employer match – Employees are eligible to enroll in Sportime’s 401k retirement plan, with matching, after they have completed one year of continuous service, worked at least 1000 hours in such calendar or anniversary year, and are over 21 years old (matching restrictions apply based on annual salary).
