The Junior Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business prospects and sales leads by seeking, and cold calling. This position will be salary based, with sales lead opportunity

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Targeting top prospects; cold calling to gain new customer growth
  • Bring in new customer opportunities
  • Develop sales leads for Territory Managers and Customer Service Reps
  • Place service calls and handling minor calls for customers
  • Act as a "solutions expert" consultant in helping partners with their unique Business solutions and strategic initiatives
  • Utilize company CRM to provide visibility and effectively communicate activity in assigned territory
  • Strategize social selling opportunities
  • Attend company training programs and accompany other associates or managers. during ride along in order to learn job skills
  • •Prepare appropriate specifications and level of service expectations in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Key Performance Measurements

  • New customer growth
  • A score card that reflects new customer growth, sales leads, and equipment sales leads
  • Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information
  • Other key metrics prescribed by Elite Material Handling leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact
Requirements:
  • Successful record of prospecting and cold calling clients to achieve new business acquisitions.• Experience in customer service, required
  • Experience in Industrial Sales, preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Further education is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must have valid drivers’ license and clean driving record (Department of Motor Vehicles)
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check
  • Must own “reliable” transportation

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high

This job will require about 90% Travel, and 10% office time
