La Follette, Johnson, De Haas, Fesler & Ames is seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Secretary with a minimum of 3 years’ experience; med-mal defense preferred but not required. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently as well as be a contributing member of our litigation team. They would possess the knowledge and skills to be proactive vs. reactive. They would be able to track litigation deadlines and ensure local court rules were being followed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. This position requires that you be professional, very organized, possess the ability to prioritize duties and pay attention to detail. You must also demonstrate a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay focused and calm under litigation pressures. This candidate should enjoy the ever changing, fast pace of litigation work.
