Machine Learning Engineer, Remote Consultant This role is for a remote Machine Learning Engineering consultant with a leading west coast-based healthcare system. The position is a 12+ month consulting opportunity. Base Pay Range $75.00/hr - $91.00/hr To be considered, candidates must reside in PST, MTN, or CST time zones. Requirements 3 or more years relevant Machine Learning Engineer experience Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, informatics, or a closely related field Master's degree preferred Healthcare expertise, including understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools Certification(s) in Machine Learning is a plus Job Description Proven experience in deploying and maintaining production-grade machine learning models, with real-time inference, scalability, and reliability Proficiency in developing end-to-end scalable ML infrastructures using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Ability to lead engineering efforts for ML/GenAI model engineering and optimizing deployment frameworks Experience in developing AI pipelines for data processing needs Demonstrated ability to collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps teams Expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models Competence in setting up monitoring and logging solutions for model performance Experience implementing version control systems for machine learning models Knowledge of ensuring machine learning systems meet security and compliance standards Skill in maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of ML Ops processes Interested in hearing more?
