Medical office manager for a small internist medical practice in Southfield, Michigan of less than 10 staff members. Responsibilities include but not limited to overseeing and manager staff, manage and help in operations, scheduling, and keeping budget on target by reducing waste and unnecessary expenses, helps and oversees billing and coding, conduct interviews and hire and evaluate staff, ensure policies that will encourage patients to return for future visits, deal with the outside accountant and billing company, oversees usage of electronic medical records and payroll software and generally ensures the office operation is according to policies.
