The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.

\n
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

\n
• Current D.C. state license is a plus.

\n
• Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.

The Practice

Howard University Hospital – Washington, D.C.

\n
• Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Primary Stroke Center.

\n
• Up to 150-bed facility with a 19-bed Emergency Department with a dedicated Pediatric Care Area.

\n
• Annual ED volume of approximately 50,000 with a 14% admit rate.

\n
• The nation’s only teaching hospital located on the campus of a historically Black university.

\n
• Washingtonian and Black Enterprise magazines have identified physicians affiliated with the hospital as leaders in a vast range of specialties.
