Plant Controller Plant Controller

Position Overview
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that financial controls are in place and that all reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies. The Plant Controller will provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting functions of the plant, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports, presenting financial performance to plant management.
• Develop and monitor the annual budget, providing variance analysis and insights to improve profitability.
• Implement cost accounting measures to track and control manufacturing costs, ensuring efficiency in operations.
• Support inventory management through accurate valuation and analysis, optimizing stock levels and reducing waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide financial decision-making and improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams.
