Location: Inkster, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: Up to $17/hr
Job Summary
Come help create the systems that keep the parts moving within automotive! Make a difference! This full-time position offers competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and opportunities for hire-in.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Powder Coater will be working in a manufacturing environment where they will be preparing material for painting (loading, unloading, lifting, and moving material).
Your core responsibilities may include:
Material Prep: Preparing material for painting (loading, unloading, lifting, and moving material).
Equipment Operation: Operate all painting equipment including spray guns, paint booth, and ovens.
Maintenance: Clean and maintain paint equipment.
Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned. This position is a steady, medium to fast pace repetitive work environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
Prior powder coating or spray painting experience required.
Ability to stand through the whole shift.
Able to do repetitive work.
Skills:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Read and understand work instructions.
Willing to work in excess of 40 hours per week.
