POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under direction from Providers, DON and Nurse Manager the Registered Nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Hospital nurses provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, and with a broad range of medical conditions. Gives direction to RN, LKPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receives direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Acute Care Director and CNO.

**This is position is part time (nights) and benefit eligible. **

EDUCATION:

  • Nursing Program graduate

EXPERIENCE:

  • Med/Surg Nursing experience preferred
  • Pediatric Nursing experience preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Montana RN Licensure
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification to be completed within 6 months of hire

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures
  • Basic office skills
  • IV skills
