Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Full-time | Hybrid | Austin, TX

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and build scalable systems while shaping product architecture, integrations, and performance improvements in a fast-moving AI automation startup. This role is hands-on (80% technical / 20% leadership) with the opportunity to influence both engineering velocity and product vision as the platform enters a new phase of growth.

Tech stack: Python, TypeScript, SQL, Node.js, Nest.js, React, AWS, GCP, Docker, ECS, Terraform, Django, Flask

What You’ll Do



• Design and implement scalable systems across the full stack (Python, TypeScript, SQL)
• Lead feature planning, architecture, and write specs for major components
• Build and maintain integrations with AI/ML models and internal data pipelines
• Improve performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability of core systems
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and guide quality standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, PMs, and designers
• Act as a product owner: understand user needs, propose roadmap items, and drive execution

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience building scalable full-stack systems
• Strong technical depth in Python, TypeScript, and SQL
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and mentor teammates
• Product mindset with the ability to balance technical decisions and user needs
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (3 days/week in Austin office)
