Chili Johns in Burbank, CA is looking for one server/bartender to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 2018 W Burbank Blvd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

Job Description:

As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while taking orders, preparing drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and beverages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of craft beverages, including beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food and drink pairings, to offer recommendations to guests.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Engage with guests to create a memorable experience, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar and dining areas for service, including restocking supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of craft beers, cocktails, and beverage service techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and hold any required certifications (e.g., bartending or food safety certifications).
