Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer-ServiceNow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The candidate must possess a Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve in a team leader capacity with large-scale Application Development projects / programs
  • Drive technical validity of solution.
  • Coordinate issues resolution activities with varied stakeholders
  • Drive the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials
  • Review entire problem logs, identify recurring problems, and complete steps for long-term resolution
  • Provide coaching and development to more junior Application Developers
  • Coordinate the work of 3rd party development teams
  • Participate in Agile teams
  • Develop and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using ServiceNow scripting languages.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve production problems related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Manage multiple development projects at one time while being organized and taking detailed notes.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities, proposing enhancements and upgrades.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or combination of work experience and education
  • Two (2)+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform (e.g., ITSM, HR, AppEngine, ITOM, IRM, SecOps, etc.) with in-depth knowledge of platform capabilities, scripting languages, and architecture.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
  • Experience developing and supporting production applications including limited experience coordinating and leading development teams/projects
  • Experience working in large complex technology projects including those with offshore teams
  • Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions as well as able to work independently
  • Excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, mathematic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and manage an action plan including strong attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate the Agile delivery values of Openness, Commitment, Respect, Courage, and Focus
  • Other job duties as assigned
