Job Description Title: Sustainability Coordinator Position Type: Full-time Reporting Location: Carlsbad, CA (remote work allowed in certain cases) Schedule: 8am-5pm PST, Mon-Fri Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000/year Start Date: Not for immediate hire (July or August) Verdani Partners seeks a sustainability coordinator to assist our client account leads with implementing corporate sustainability programs and policies across diverse, international portfolios of buildings. This full-time role begins with an intensive 3-6 month training period. Preference will be given to candidates willing to work from our Carlsbad office and those with educational background and experience in commercial real estate and/or corporate sustainability. The candidate will coordinate directly with clients, requiring excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. This is an entry-level position with training provided by Verdani Partners. Professional Experience & Qualifications We recognize that candidates may not meet all requirements but will consider those demonstrating a proactive attitude and relevant experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Architecture, Real Estate, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Business Admin, or related Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills Ability to adapt to client and company needs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Interest in corporate sustainability expertise development Preferred qualifications include: Master’s Degree LEED Green Associate, LEED AP, or GRESB AP certification Experience in commercial real estate and sustainability reporting frameworks (GRESB, PRI, GRI, etc.) Knowledge of Energy Star Portfolio Manager and LEED O+M Working Conditions and Physical Demands Expectations include working at a desk, repetitive motions, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and indoor office environment conditions.
