About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice/ piano instructor to teach full-time at Reeder Music Academy in Danville, CA . We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person. The ability to teach additional instruments is a plus!
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. To meet full-time hours we will require availability of a minimum of 30 hours per week, through the prime hours of 3-8pm Monday-Friday and 10am-3pm Saturdays.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $35-$40/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job, and teachers who average 30 hours or more per week (full-time) are eligible for our Health/Vision/Dental offerings.
