Job Details
SUMMARY
Contracts Manager is responsible for administration of all aspects of Contract Management to assure legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance while assuring the interests of the Company are maintained.
Within the aerospace and defense environment, the Contract Manager will also be responsible for export compliance, negotiation, and document review while leveraging partnered legal resources.
This position will also assist in the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Previous experience in Aerospace and Defense contract area (4-6 years preferred).
At least 3 years of experience managing federal government contracts required.
Detailed working knowledge of FAR & DFARS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
Detailed working knowledge of U.S. Government aerospace and defense industry contractual and purchasing procedures.
Experience with ITAR and U.S. Government export control procedures.
Previous experience in negotiating contract terms.
