Job Description

We are looking for a Clean Room Assembler to join our growing team. This is a cross-trained position involving assembly, packaging, labeling, and kit packing. The successful candidate will work in a clean room environment and assist with medical device assembly, specifically assembling containers used for surgical instruments. Proficiency in English is necessary for reading, writing, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers used for surgical instruments following blueprints and work orders.
• Utilize screwdrivers, nuts, bolts, and lock tights to secure screws and assembly fixtures.
• Gather parts from the warehouse and set up the workstation daily using a traveler.
• Assist in the shipping department when necessary.
• Box, label, and package final products and test tubes.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write work directions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience in assembly manufacturing, preferably 6 months or more, or a sharp entry-level candidate.
• Hand dexterity and ability to work at high production speeds.
• Experience with medical device assembly and inspection.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Work Environment

Positions are performed in a clean room environment. Candidates must be comfortable sitting and standing for long periods of time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
