Position Overview

Our great client in Denver is seeking skilled and motivated Pipe Fitters and Welders to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in stainless steel or carbon steel welding and fitting to work on a variety of industrial and commercial projects. Candidates must meet the required qualifications and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This offers a 4-day workweek and weekends off plus OT as needed. Job Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel or carbon steel pipes using MIG, TIG, and FCAW processes.
• Pass required welding tests, including 6G GTAW and 6G MIG/FCAW for stainless and carbon steel pipes.
• Fit and assemble piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Tack weld components as needed to facilitate fitting and welding.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.
• Work efficiently in both independent and team settings.
• Perform overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Stainless Steel Welders:

• Must have MIG and TIG experience.
• Ability to pass a 6G GTAW 2” Schedule 40 304L Stainless Pipe Test (specifications provided).
• Willingness to learn MIG welding if only experienced in TIG.

Carbon Steel Pipe Fitters/Welders:

• Must have MIG and FCAW pipe welding experience.
• Ability to pass a 6G 2” Schedule 160 Heavy Wall Carbon Steel Pipe Test (specifications provided).
• Extensive pipe fitting experience is acceptable for candidates unable to pass a full weld test if they can tack their own welds.

General Requirements:

• Proven experience in pipe fitting or welding in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and techniques.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.

Shifts

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Thursday, overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed).
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday-Thursday, overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed).
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
