We are in need of a dedicated Recruiter to join our team in the education sector, based in Orlando, Florida. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the recruitment process, from developing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent to managing the onboarding process. This role is crucial in expanding our recruitment footprint across various platforms and locations, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

• Coordinate and facilitate all stages of the recruitment process.

• Use various sources to write and place job advertisements, expanding our organization's recruitment footprint.

• Maintain and manage job requisitions on the Applicant Track System (ATS), overseeing ATS access for hiring supervisors.

• Collaborate with hiring managers and human resource staff during the offer process, providing recommendations on salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.

• Attend and conduct interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, and manage the candidate vetting process.

• Coordinate and improve onboarding processes and timelines, ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to new hire onboarding.

• Develop and implement onboarding experiences within our HCMS platform and ensure compliance with all onboarding activities.

• Attend college job fairs and recruiting sessions to build applicant sources.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to create tracking and reporting tools for all onboarding activities.

• Regularly research, share, and lead pilots to test new practices with potential to improve recruitment.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment role within the education industry.
• Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Familiarity with conducting background checks in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Proficiency in managing employee benefits functions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee-related benefits.
• Experience with onboarding processes, including new hire orientations, paperwork completion, and introductory training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with potential hires and internal team members.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software.
• Knowledge of current hiring trends and practices in the education industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Must have strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
