Position Highlights:

• Student Loan Repayment:  This RN position is eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient care in Dialysis.
• Demonstrate strong customer service including verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent to care for the renal patient and their underlying medical conditions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the hemodialysis process and treatment of its complications and emergencies.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff
• ACLS certification is highly recommended.

Work Schedule

• Hours:
  • Day/Evening Shift; 24 hours every 2 weeks
  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday
  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

• $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
