Short Intro and About the Job Our
Summer Internship Experience (SIE) is a 10-week program that allows students to dive into a project relevant to their studies to further grow and develop their learnings. During our 10-week program, you will participate in trainings, development sessions, as well as lots of exciting programming.
The dates for our 2025 Program will be May 12, 2025 to July 25, 2025, and will consist of a 35-40 hour work week. INTERN PROGRAM: The Danone North American (DNA) Finance is responsible for creating and maintaining budgets, analyzing and providing financial data to support decision making, and ensuring compliance. The intern program aims to provide individuals with the opportunity to gain valuable finance experience through real-world assignments, culminating in a presentation of project results to the Leadership Team.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR INTERNSHIP: - 10-week program immersed in the West Jordan, UT Finance Department
- 35-40 hour work week
- Conduct, sometimes lead, research, analysis, and improvement projects related to department goals
- Actively engage the current workforce, through job shadowing, as an example, to effectively achieve project and department goals

ASSIGNMENTS MAY INCLUDE: The Finance Intern may assist in a number of project support roles in the Finance Department. Specific project responsibilities will be identified 30-60 days prior to the start of the internship, based on business need and intern interest.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Help the finance department in the manufacturing plant by understanding the overall process of making Yogurt and how that applies to the costing function
- Leverage scientific expertise and complete projects using appropriate research, statistical methods, and technical reporting
- Maintain accurate financial documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to be more efficient
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead projects through all phases of the process
About You - It is preferred that the candidate be a JUNIOR or SENIOR, pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree, and have completed courses in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related major.
- Proven leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Self-starter who takes initiative to identify areas of opportunity and take action
- A high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology
- Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization
- Previous internship or work experience is highly preferred
- Interest in the consumer-packaged goods/manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Danone brands after graduation (strongly preferred).

The base compensation range for this position is $24 per hour.
