We are in search of a VP/Director of Finance in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves leading the operations of the finance department and handling all finance and accounting operational functions in our industry. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
• Manage the close of income statement and balance sheet for month-end and year-end, conduct account reconciliations & G/L analysis
• Generate cash-flow reports, project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
• Implement the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection
• Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
• Aid in the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis
• Motivate others by maintaining a positive professional attitude, exhibit integrity, reliability, and leadership
• Provide exceptional client services by managing self and others by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, and accountability
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, Accounting Functions, Annual Budget, Auditing, Budget Processes, QuickBooks Pro, and Microsoft Excel in daily tasks.• Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a VP/Director of Finance
• Extensive knowledge of accounting software systems and proficiency in QuickBooks Pro
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounting functions, including ledger accounts, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting
• Proficiency in preparing annual budgets and understanding of budget processes
• Experience in conducting internal audits for policy adherence and regulatory compliance
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Exceptional strategic planning skills and ability to make sound financial decisions
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial managers
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is preferred
