Part Time Hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP
Bixby is a mental health company dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to clients in California. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team as a part-time clinician. This hybrid position will provide care to individuals in skilled nursing homes located in Beverly Hills and on the west-side of Los Angeles, while also giving the practitioner the ability to provide telehealth care in the comfort of their home office to a wide range of patients in the Westside community. Responsibilities
Conduct in-person and virtual psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment to clients with a wide range of diagnoses. - Ongoing in-person and virtual psychiatric medication management.
- Treatment consultations, in-person and virtual.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, ensuring all required information is submitted for billing purposes.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and collaboration by attending clinical trainings, case consultations, and staff meetings.
- Assist in the overall growth and development of the PMHNP team and the Company.
- Maintain an active drivers license.
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience providing medication management and associated psychiatric services preferably in an outpatient setting. - Current , unrestricted California medical license.
- Current, unrestricted DEA license for all schedules.
- Active RN
- PMHNP Board Certification
- Active BLS Certification.
- Active ACLS Certification.
- ASA Moderate Sedation Training completion and certification.
- Active California Drivers License and working vehicle.
- Knowledge and experience in working with the adult and geriatric population preferred.
- Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Access to reliable internet and computer to provide telehealth services.
- Preferred background as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Compensation/Benefits:
This is a W2 position with collections based compensation and has an estimated range of $80-$100 per clinical hour. Clinicians will be provided with clients and expected to be at a full caseload in 2-3 months. - Bonuses are available for seeing more patients per week, providing opportunities for increased compensation and if desired, a full time position.
- Weekly in-house supervision with a Bixby Psychiatrist.
- In house LCSW and ASW team for consultation and referrals.
- Covered malpractice insurance.
- In-house insurance billing and payroll services.
- Access to an electronic record-keeping/note-taking application.
- 1 week of paid vacation per year, 7 floating holidays, and 5 sick days.
